Limousine Services in Austin, Lakeway, Round Rock and Cedar Park and Surrounding Areas

Do you have a special occasion approaching and want to arrive in style? Why not rent a limousine? If you have played with the idea, there are a few things you must first determine. What are your needs? Consider the following: type of limo, color, how many people it must accommodate, and additional charges. Search either the internet or yellow pages and contact various companies to determine costs, and if they have what you are looking for. Make sure to document all quotes.

Austin Price Check! Most transportation services in Austin rent out these cars (with their average prices) regular limousines($75-100), stretch Hummers ($150-$200), stretch Excursions ($90-$130), stretch Cadillac Escalades ($130-$150) or stretch Lincoln Navigators ($120-$130). Some places also rent 15 passengers vans for around $$45-75/hour during the week and $75-$105/hour over a weekend.

Each company offers different prices based on the vehicle, its features, and additional services offered. Price is usually a factor as to whom you will decide to use, but in this case a better price does not really mean the best limo or service. If you have the time, it is usually a good idea to visit the company location and see the actual limousine you will be renting. This is to ensure you get what you pay for without unhappy surprises.

Here are a few pertinent things you need to review with the company: length of time in business, references, number in fleet, colors, year, mileage, air conditioning/heat, insurance, costs and inclusions, driver’s attire and gratuity.

Once you have narrowed the list of companies to one, you will need to reserve your limousine. After reservations are complete you will need to sign a contract. This will ensure that you get what you order. It should include: date of service, arrival times, locations, color, make, model, year, rental costs, insurance, and deposit refund policies.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a single woman traveling solo, or a rich celebrity, safety is always of the utmost concern. Many of these companies place high priority on security and you should review what your company does to ensure your safety. Some companies take extra steps by making their chauffeurs complete rigorous screening and training programs before being allowed to go out on the road. A few things to review regarding the drivers include: Licenses, drug testing, fingerprinting, background checks, previous experience, road testing, and length of time with the company.

Aside from vehicle features you should question their maintenance. Some vehicles also have video systems which capture all of the limousines locations, and chauffeurs driving. This is an additional amenity which is not found in all limos, but can be a beneficial feature to assist in you decision making.

Although renting limousine service is a luxury to most, it can be very rewarding during crucial times. If you are unable to drive yourself to the airport you can rent a limo, being dropped off directly in front of your gate and not having to wrestle with baggage is always a plus. During holidays, such as New Year’s, this is not a time to be driving. Not only is it irresponsible to drink and drive, but a life could be lost. If you want more luxury than a plain cab, rent a limo. You’re sure to arrive in style, and impress whomever you may be picking up.
