The Austin Senior AIDES Program

The Senior AIDES Program is a service that places older workers within non-profit (501c3) and governmental agencies within Austin/Travis County to enhance skills and learn new skills while providing a needed community service.

The Senior AIDES program is sponsored by the City of Austin , Parks and Recreation Department and the National Contractor is Senior Service America.

Eligibility Requirements are the following: Applicants must be:

• must be 55 years of age or older
• met the income eligibility guideling
• live within Austin Travis County

Potential applicants and non-profit (501c3) and governmental agencies are urged to call (512) 480-3006 for further info rmation.

Experience Unlimited: is a free job referral service for older workers and employers. We serve potential older workers that are 50 years of age and older. Job listings are accepted from any employer. A pool of older workers is kept on file of those willing to complete odd jobs. ie. yard workers, painters, sitters, housekeepers, repairmen etc.
